Take that-30 posts in 30 days! I did it! I think I'll party!

As promised, here is Colton more or less chewing on his sippy cup! Whatever works for now!

We're all clean! Playing fairly (not so much), ready for helmets , ready for bottles and ready for bed!

Okay, the next slew of pictures are from my Aunt Valerie's 50th birthday party! In our family, all birthdays are fun and are cause for celebration, but this one was particularly fun! To make a long story short, to help make this birthday so special for Auntie Valerie, many hands went into making it a bit of a surprise birthday! Auntie Val thought she was just picking up her husband, my Uncle Jim, at the airport with my dad after a few weeks at hunting camp in Vermont. And in fact, they DID just pick up her husband. But in fact, Auntie Kim was also there, waiting for them to leave the airport so that she could then pick up Valerie's daughter, Jen, her mother (my gramma) and her stepdaughter, Denise who were also on the flight! Shortly after Valerie arrived back home, her mom walks right into her house and gives her a great big surprise! Thinking that was a wonderful enough surprise, she is then doubly surprised when her daughter and stepdaughter walked in too! I love surprises! So the next night, we partied it up at our house!

"Whatchoo got in that cup, Grampa Sam?"

Yes, this was the occasion that prompted us to buy sippy cups.

Hmm...maybe I'll have some more.

I believe what he's saying here is, "Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?"

Colton and his fairy, fairy godmother. (She's really my godmother, which turned into my fairy godmother, which in next generation speak, became fairy, FAIRY godmother for my son.)

This is me making sure the timer is working.

The Whole Gang! Vermonters and Arizonans unite!

(Not bad for a "timered" photo huh?)

Great Gramma Daniels and the Three Amigos!

Great Gramma Daniels, ALL the way from Vermont!

Make A Wish, Auntie!

Emilio and the Quadripeds, Piper and Rocco

And that my friends, marks the END of my 30 posts in 30 days challenge!! I am mucho proudo of myself! I managed it with triplets and all! Now I think I might miss blogging every day, so maybe I'll keep trying, (just without the stress....)

Sad Goodbyes and Sad Hello's...(for me anyway)

So our 4 day Thanksgiving extravaganza officially came to an end today when Nana and Papa Bunch and Auntie Kristen left Tucson to head back to the Valley. We had a wonderful time and the babies no doubt LOVED having them here to visit! They particularly loved showing off all their new tricks and talents and were every bit as loveable as they always are! I'm so proud of my babies...

We spent today eating, playing and watching (as we do every year) "Home Alone" with Macauley Culkin. Folks, if you think that movie is funny, trust me when I say this-what's even funnier than the movie, is watching my husband and father-in-law watch that movie. They know every part, they know exactly which prank is coming next, they know exactly how the prank will end, and they STILL laugh uncontrollably. And no, that is not an exaggeration. I invite you to come on over next year and see for yourself!

So the weekend was fun and we're looking forward to a nice, quiet, simple dinner with them again, when Auntie Kristen graduates from ASU in December! (Right Kristen?) :)

Ok please watch Ethan.....(baby on the left)
And now look at Ethan! And poor Auntie Kristen! Ouch!
So sad goodbyes for the babies were met with even sadder hellos for mommy....Soon as they left, we headed for Target to get some boring stuff! While we were there, we remembered that we were supposed to "try out" some sippy cups before the babies turn 9 months....(well, that and the fact that Ethan pretty much chugged Grampa Sam's cup of water the other night was another indicator that maybe they were ready)...
So, with sadness, my preemie triplets are growing up....they've used sippy cups now!!! Excuse me while I go look at photo albums of their birth and cry.... (Colton did not use one yet...because of his cleft palate, he is still unable to suck like the other two. So dad is "fixing Colton's sippy cup, so that it will more or less drip out, without him having to work so hard at it!) Stay tuned for those pictures!

Our Thanksgiving Weekend Continues!

These pictures are from our second Thanksgiving with the Bunch side of our family! They came in to town this morning and we have been busy, busy, busy all day! We played, we drove out to the desert to attempt some family pictures (I use the word 'attempt' because it felt like the windiest day on record today...) you'll notice this when you see both of my sons' hair-do's....I don't really give them mohawks and funky spikes... Nevertheless, we had fun taking them!
From there, we went to Kohl's to check out the sales and see if we could find some Christmas Outfits for the babies....between Kristen's and my detective eyes, we were finally able to find two outfits for the boys that were both the right size! I'd show you a picture of them, but you'll just have to wait....Then we came home and played some more, had some dinner, had some baths, had some bottles. Then the big people had some eggnog and pie! Yum, yum! I wish Thanksgiving was 3 days long every year!
