As promised, here is Colton more or less chewing on his sippy cup! Whatever works for now!
We're all clean! Playing fairly (not so much), ready for helmets , ready for bottles and ready for bed!
Okay, the next slew of pictures are from my Aunt Valerie's 50th birthday party! In our family, all birthdays are fun and are cause for celebration, but this one was particularly fun! To make a long story short, to help make this birthday so special for Auntie Valerie, many hands went into making it a bit of a surprise birthday! Auntie Val thought she was just picking up her husband, my Uncle Jim, at the airport with my dad after a few weeks at hunting camp in Vermont. And in fact, they DID just pick up her husband. But in fact, Auntie Kim was also there, waiting for them to leave the airport so that she could then pick up Valerie's daughter, Jen, her mother (my gramma) and her stepdaughter, Denise who were also on the flight! Shortly after Valerie arrived back home, her mom walks right into her house and gives her a great big surprise! Thinking that was a wonderful enough surprise, she is then doubly surprised when her daughter and stepdaughter walked in too! I love surprises! So the next night, we partied it up at our house!

"Whatchoo got in that cup, Grampa Sam?"
"Whatchoo got in that cup, Grampa Sam?"
Yes, this was the occasion that prompted us to buy sippy cups.
Hmm...maybe I'll have some more.
I believe what he's saying here is, "Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?"
Colton and his fairy, fairy godmother. (She's really my godmother, which turned into my fairy godmother, which in next generation speak, became fairy, FAIRY godmother for my son.)
