Hello June. So nice to see you.

Compared to my hellish yesterday, today shaped up quite nicely. (THANK YOU JUNE.) Once we had all rolled ourselves out of bed, and I determined that there was not enough milk in the house for all of us to eat cereal, I made a command decision to pile us all in the car and make a Starbucks and a Dunkin Donuts run.

I went to Starbucks first, ordered my Venti No-Water, with whip chai and then patiently waited in the ridiculously long line. When it was my turn to pay, I rolled down the kids' window so they could greet our Barista (at which point, Ethan often yells "Hubba Hubba")  and as I handed her my phone to pay, she so kindly informed me that the woman in front of me had paid for my drink. FOR REALLY REALLY REAL??

So what's a girl to do? I paid for the guy behind me.  :)

Moving on down the road to Dunkin Donuts I was super excited to learn that it was National Donut Day and with every beverage purchased, I got a donut FREE! Yahoo!!

We made our donut deliveries to Aunt Mary and Brinley and ended up spending the day swimming and playing while visiting with 'Gigi' (my 101 year old grandma).  :)  Tried out instagram on my little water babies a few times. Isn't she sweet?

I'm really only including this photo because frankly, I'm shocked that they are all wearing bathing suits. And I even TOLD them they could go bare butt swimmin!

And then  home.
While the kids (and Brian) napped, I worked on my summer chores list. If I may say so, I was pretty successful today! I never really realize how nasty the baseboards get until the one time a year I actually clean them! They sure do look purty now though! So I have about 6 weeks left of my summer vacation to accomplish the rest of my list. Ready, set, go!
So on that note, happy June my friends! (Yes, Brian so kindly reminded me that I didn't NEED to do a blog tonight but I figured I was on a roll, so why not?)

I'll never forget the first time someone paid for my order in a drive-thru line. It was awesome! Thanks for the refresher, though....I'll have to pass on the favor to someone down here in New Orleans one day this weekend!

Wow! That's so cool that they paid for you! But I am confused on to why you gave your phone to the lady?

They paid because they knew you were being a nice sister and bringing me a donut and coffee on National Donut Day...

Liking the list...and no school stuff : ) School can wait!

I need a to-do list like that! And I just love when people do nice things for others - especially when it's a stranger!!

And I'm so glad you decided to blog! I was thinking that I was going to miss reading about the daily shenanigans of the Bunchkins!

Thanks everyone! I recently got an iPhone and on it, I have the Starbucks app. So it has a scanner on the phone that I can use to pay for drinks instead of having to get out my wallet. (This way I earn points for free stuff!) That was a great question!

OMG! Are you serious about that app?!!! I need it! And you are kicking your "TO DO" list's butt! I wish I could say the same :/
